- Hometown: Kalamazoo, Michigan
- Major: Mental Health
- Activities: Music, snowboarding, soccer, making people laugh
Dan is passionate about many things: The movies Braveheart and August Rush, snowboarding, soccer, and for some inexplicable reason, argyle sweaters and socks.
"I wear them so much one guy on my hall now calls me 'Argyle,'" the Kalamazoo, Michigan, native admits. "I don't know why I like it so much. Maybe it goes back to Braveheart and the character Lord Argyle."
But even argyle sweaters, for all their mysterious allure, don't top the list of things Dan is most passionate about. That honor belongs to music, making people laugh, and, most important of all, the Catholic faith.
In addition to playing the piano—Dan can often be found in the J.C. Williams Center's Fireside Lounge pounding away—this freshman loves "just about anything that has a melody."
