OHIO Grant Programs

Ohio College Opportunity Grant: This is available to eligible students who are residents of Ohio. To apply for this program, a student must file the FAFSA. Eligibility is based upon the Expected Family Contribution number.
Ohio War Orphan Scholarship: Awarded to students whose parent served at least 90 days of active duty during a declared war or conflict and is severely disabled or deceased as a result of service. Applications are available from high school guidance counselors or veterans offices. The amount available for private education is $5,100.
Ohio National Guard Tuition Grant: This program is offered to eligible members of the National Guard. This grant pays the average state-assisted university’s tuition costs at private institutions recognized by the Ohio Board of Regents. The grant is available for undergraduate studies. Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program (NEALP): This program provides financial assistance to students enrolled at least half time in the nurse education program. NEALP provides funding for nurses who intend to serve as instructors or students who intend to serve as nurses after graduation
