Services for Employers
The Career Services Office is available to assist employers seeking to fill current or future vacancies, conduct recruitment visits on campus, or participate in career fairs.
- Job Listings - Employers may have a position posted at the University by using our College Central Network.
- Internships - Looking for someone to work in your office or agency that can bring classroom theory to practice in the workplace? Consider an internship. An internship gives students on-the-job experience in fields corresponding to their majors while at the same time providing employers with assistance on special projects, work relief during peak periods, and the opportunity to screen interns as potential employees. Agencies are not required to compensate an intern. The intern receives academic credit as well as life and career experience. CAMPUS EVENTS FOR EMPLOYERS:
- E-Fair is scheduled for the month of October 2008. This job fair will be open to students and alumni from the ten-member consortium schools belonging to the Upper Ohio Valley Career Services Consortium (UOVCSC) who seek full-time, part-time, and co-op/internship opportunities. Combined, we will graduate approximately 3,000 students with credentials ranging from certificates to associate degrees and baccalaureate to master’s degrees.
