Launched in 1979 to meet the growing needs of the business community in the Ohio Valley, the MBA Program is designed to provide you with the educational foundation you need for leadership and management in business.
Using a highly integrated approach, the Franciscan University MBA Program focuses on the application of functional busniess knowledge; the aim of the program is to produce a generalist rather than a specialist. Toward this end, your studies will focus on analytical and behavioral techniques, as well as on institutional considerations confronting managers.
Another major objective of the program is to develop your problem-solving skills, while instructing you in the overall principles and decision-making techniques essential to effective management. An emphasis on team-building, communication, and leadership skills will further equip you to work in a wide range of organizational settings.
Graduating with your MBA degree from Franciscan University will position you to either assume greater responsibility with your current employer or to seek new management opportunities in the broader market. Currently our graduates are employed in senior management positions throughout the Ohio Valley and around the country.
