Steubenville, OH—Genesis to Jesus, a new TV series featuring world-renowned Scripture scholar and Franciscan University of Steubenville theology professor Dr. Scott Hahn, debuts this month on the Eternal Word Television Network.
Genesis to Jesus follows the main biblical figures that lead us to Christ, including Adam, Noah, Moses, and David, as it delves into the rich history of the Catholic faith. The series is based on Hahn’s popular book, A Father Who Keeps His Promises.
Joined by host Rob Corzine, director of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, Hahn discusses the shining path through salvation history as the Old Testament is fulfilled in the New Testament.
Recorded at Franciscan University's TV studio, each 30-minute episode explores a specific biblical figure or event, beginning with the first episode, "A Father Who Keeps His Promises," which explains how and why all the books of the Bible are united as a single book, and how Sacred Scripture leads us from creation through the end of time.
Genesis to Jesus airs on Monday evenings, starting February 6, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (6:00 p.m. Pacific) and repeats each Thursday, starting February 9, at 2:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (11:00 p.m. Pacific). Consult local listings for the channel in your area.
