The Priestly Discernment Program
The USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) has defined a pre-theologate as “an institution attached to a seminary for college graduates with insufficient philosophy credits for seminary.” To remain in harmony with USCCB definitions and to offer greater clarity as to what we are all about, effective Monday, January 24, 2011, our Pre-Theologate Program became known as the Priestly Discernment Program of Franciscan University of Steubenville.
