Assisi Heights Apartments

Apartment Overview

The Assisi Heights Apartments are multi-level 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartment units available to students age 22 to 35 and any student who has reached senior status (88 or more credits). Each apartment is gender specific, but buildings may house students of both genders. Utilities are included with the exception of internet and phone. Students may sign an individual contract with a local vendor to obtain internet or phone service. Charges must be billed directly to the student.

The University is not liable for damage or theft of personal property. Residents of the Assisi Heights Apartments are encouraged to obtain renter’s insurance.

Below is a list to assist you in preparing to live in Assisi Heights. We suggest that you contact your roommates to avoid duplication.

Kitchen

Provided: Stove, Refrigerator, Table Chairs, trash can

What you may want to bring: Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, utensils, glasses,
Cleaning supplies, mop, broom, dishwashing liquid, floor cleaner, surface cleaner, oven cleaner, dish clothes and towels, trash bags, and small appliances such as a microwave, toaster and coffeemaker.

Bathroom

Provided: plunger, bowl brush, shower curtain

What you may want to bring: Towels, washcloths, shower supplies, personal hygiene supplies, cleaning supplies such as toilet bowl cleaner, bathroom cleaner and glass cleaner, small trash can, first aid supplies, over the counter medications, and other personal needs such as a hair dryer, curling iron etc.

Bedroom

Provided: Desk with chair, bed, extra long mattress

What you may want to bring: Sheets for an extra long twin bed, pillow and pillow case, comforter, blankets, desk lamp, summer and winter clothes, dress and casual clothes, comfortable walking shoes, robe, slippers, umbrella and raincoat, alarm clock, clothes hangers, waste basket.

Living room

Provided: Love seat, chair

What you may want to bring: End tables, television and stand (cable provided)

Extras

Provided:Window treatments, snow shovel (you are responsible for shoveling your own sidewalk)

What you may want to bring: Fans (units are not air conditioned), area rugs, vacuum cleaner, patio furniture, grill, decorations for the apartment that can be put on the walls with sticky-tac or command adhesives (no nails may be used!), lamps, stereo, crock-pot, extension cords, surge protectors, iron and ironing board, change for the coin operated laundry (located in the Community Building), laundry soap, laundry bag or clothes basket, and a container for sidewalk salt.

Do not bring

Window or free standing air conditioners, washers and dryers, candles or incense, chest or upright freezers.

The UL Mark on a product means that UL has tested and evaluated representative samples of that product and determined that they meet UL's requirements.
