    Even if you THINK you absolutely know what you want to major in
  • Take some career assessments
  • Attend a Myers-Briggs Workshop (find out the personality partof your career fit)
  • Do some job shadowing
  • Start thinking about internships
  • Attend the Career Fair … Get used to the process
  • Sign up for and attend the Alumni Career Mentoring Day
  • Attend Résumé Workshop
  • Write your résumé and get it approved

 

Sophomore Year

  • Start planning your internships
  • Do more job shadowing and informational interviewing
  • Is Graduate School in your future? Start researching where youmight go
  • Attend the Career Fair … Get used to the process
  • Sign up for and attend the Alumni Career Mentoring Day
  • Register on CCN  http://www.collegecentral.com/franciscan/ (This is where we post ALL jobs and internships.)
  • Attend the Career Fair
  • Talk to us - let us help you

 

Junior Year

  • Start planning your internships
  • Take Graduate School exams
  • Do final research on graduate schools/ collectapplications
  • Sign up for and attend the Alumni Career Mentoring Day
  • Attend the Career Fair
  • Attend our workshops on:
    • Interviewing
    • Job Search
    • Etiquette Dinner

 

SeniorYear

  • Start your job search
  • Fine tune your résumé and cover letters
  • Network
  • Attend the Career Fair - dressed professionally with résumé inhand
  • Sign up for and attend the Alumni Career Mentoring Day
