STEUBENVILLE, OH — As the last event in a year-long celebration of St. Paul, Apostle to the Gentiles, Franciscan University of Steubenville will host a talk on how to share the Christian faith with Jehovah Witnesses. The talk, “Answering the Door: How to Understand and Respond to Jehovah Witnesses,” given by Dr. Max Bonilla, will be held on Thursday, March 5, at 7:00 p.m., in Christ the King Chapel.
Bonilla is the vice president for Academic Affairs at Franciscan University and received his licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and his doctorate in biblical theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He is fluent in many languages and was a regular guest on Spanish radio and television programs in Texas. He is also noted for his studies of Pope John Paul II.
The event is open to the public.
