STEUBENVILLE, OH—"The 13th Day," a new feature film offered through Ignatius Press on the apparitions of the Blessed Mother in Fatima, Portugal, will be screened at Franciscan University on Sunday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Tony and Nina Gentile Gallery in the J. C. Williams Center.
Described by Catholic film critic Steven Greydanus as "the best movie ever made about Fatima—the most beautiful and effective, as well as one of the most historically accurate," the movie tells the story of one of the most dramatic Marian apparitions of the past century. The student group Exc!te will sponsor the screening in collaboration with Ignatius Press. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
