Franciscan Launches New Athletics Web Site

STEUBENVILLE, OH—The Athletics Department at Franciscan University of Steubenville today announced the launch of a new Web site for Baron athletics: www.franciscanathletics.com.
The new site features more information, including news, current and archived statistics, and photographs. "It is a lot more image-saturated,” says T.J. Froemsdorf, assistant athletic director. “Each varsity team’s section has been expanded and there is a greater emphasis on intramural sports with schedules, news, and pictures.”
The redesign is the next phase in the overhaul of the University’s main Web site that was unveiled in September.
The “microsite” is also accessible from Franciscan University's main site, www.franciscan.edu. It is hosted by PrestoSports, an athletics Web design company based in Maryland, which hosts web pages for NCAA Division I through Division III teams, including Catholic University of America and Harvard University.
Franciscan University is an NCAA Division III provisional member whose teams compete in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
