For 60 years, Franciscan University of Steubenville has striven to educate and send forth men and women who know those answers, who know that healing and renewal only come from Christ, and who are prepared to bring Christ and be Christ to the culture. We have done so, in part, through our challenging liberal arts curriculum. We have also done so by remaining faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church despite tremendous pressure from the culture and the higher education
leaders to follow the path toward secularization.
Our decision to remain committed to the integration of faith and reason in every
aspect of our University’s life has inspired other schools to return
to their intellectual and spiritual
roots. It has also enabled
us to send out into the world graduates who are
marked by
the courage, conviction, and compassion of Christ, graduates
who are
slowly but surely renewing the culture.
Through our $25 million capital campaign,
“Leading the
Renaissance in Catholic
Higher Education,” we want to
build on
that legacy by improving and expanding
what
Franciscan
University can offer
future generations of students.
From
providing more
scholarship assistance
to strengthening
the
physical infrastructure
of our campus,
this campaign will
make
it possible for
us to remain faithful to the
task we
set
out for ourselves so many
years
ago—forming the students who
will
transform the world. |
