| Megan Dillon Class of 2001 Senior Account Executive Creative Response Concepts Franciscan University taught me how to think critically and logically, providing me with a top-notch liberal arts education grounded in truth. Because the school educates and molds the whole person, mind, body, and soul, their graduates are equipped to go out into the world and influence the secular culture in which we live. I cannot say enough for how much the school changed my life, both academically and spiritually. And the formation I received in my three years at Steubenville has carried me through some very challenging experiences, both professionally and personally. One of those experiences involved spending many weeks in Florida in 2003 and 2005 helping Terri Schiavo’s family, the Schindlers, deal with the media firestorm surrounding their fight for their daughter’s life. Although we lost Terri, we have not lost this battle against the culture of death. And I know that it is through universities such as Franciscan University of Steubenville that young people will continue to come forth to speak out against these death merchants, so that unborn children, the disabled, and the elderly are one day welcomed into a culture of life. |
