Franciscan University gave me more than just a good education; it gave me a good Franciscan education. It helped me see that all knowledge and all work are ordered to God. He is the end, not money or prestige. It’s easy to forget that in my line of work.

It also helped me to see that the Christian faith is not just an idea, it’s a life. And you live that life most fully when you’re sharing it with others, reaching out to those less fortunate, and being a servant.

Franciscan University graduates are transforming our culture, in large part, because of the education they received in Steubenville. They spent four years immersed in a challenging academic community and a rich faith environment. That comes out in everything they do.

And they don’t have to go into politics or business to have a transforming effect on the culture. Just by being who they are, they witness to the truths that the culture has forgotten—truths like the virtue of sacrifice, the importance of the family, and the value of each human life.

The culture needs Franciscan University.
