Rosa Mystica

Under her title, "the Mystical Rose," Mary invites us to share in the Paschal Mystery through the thorns of redemptive suffering, the green leaves of steadfast hope, and the blossom of her Son’s triumph over death. We join Our Lady at the foot for cross with Mary Magdalene, receiving Christ’s crucified love and awaiting the triumph of His Resurrection. The call to live the resurrected life resounds in our hearts as it did in Magdalene’s, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom do you seek?” We respond to this call to conversion by inviting the Holy Spirit to cultivate the garden of our souls through contemplative prayer, liberating self-knowledge, and authentic femininity.
