Join Franciscan University Pilgrimages as we visit destinations throughout the world where faith is strengthened, spirits are encouraged, and souls are renewed. With Franciscan friars and expert guides, you will have the opportunity to learn more about our Catholic heritage and its roots. We walk where saints once tread. Upcoming Pilgrimages

Italy--Life of St. Francis

October 25—November 3, 2012

Visit the places that St. Francis called home and the places he visited as he was establishing his Order. Spend time in Assisi, La Verna, San Gimignano, Orvieto and Rome, praying where he prayed, walking where he walked, and experiencing the amazing Umbrian countryside he loved so much.

Optional Extension

Spend more time in Rome, plus visit the site of the first créche and the place where St. Francis wrote his Rule.

Shrines of France

June 30—July 9, 2012

Pray at Lyon, Ars, Paray-le-Monial, Paris, Chartres, Liseiux, Mont-St. Michel, and, of course, Lourdes. Visit the sites so familiar and dear to Sts. Irenaeus, John Mary Vianney, Thérèse, Bernadette, Vincent de Paul, Catherine Labouré, Margaret Mary Alacoque, and so many others

The Austrian Experience

October 27 - November 5, 2012

This pilgrimage to visit our Study Abroad Program housed in a 14th century former Carthusian monastery nestled in the scenic foothills of the Alps. Visit the quiant nearby town of Gaming and the beautiful cities of Salzburg and Vienna. Open to everyone!
