| Duties | Lead music ministry at major campus liturgical events under the supervision and direction of the Coordinator of Music Ministry. Attend weekly business meeting and all AHOB events. Be a music lead for one of the Sunday Masses. Assist the coordinator of Music Ministry in recruiting, auditioning, training, supervising and scheduling all music ministry volunteers. Help organize and lead both the Fall and Spring Music Ministry retreats and training workshop/ |
| Qualifications | Must be a presently enrolled Franciscan University student (minimum of 6 credits and not on probation)/ Able to lead music (voice and guitar, organ, or piano proficiency are necessary) and to audition aond train others. Excellent understanding of Liturgy and up-to-date knowledge of applicable church directives regarding music in the liturgy are a must. Able to understand and communicate departmental information, policies and procedures to music ministers. Will need to operate office equipment, use word processing spreadsheet and other computer applications to perform tasks. |
