DutiesAs a telecounselor supervisor a student must first serve the other telecounselors through an example of excellence. The supervisor must present the vision of what it is to be a servant as well as the importance of their role as representatives of Franciscan University. This position requires that the supervisor be a resource for the other telecounselors in disseminating information necessary to do their job well. This will be done by holding weekly or biweekly training meetings with new and existing telecounselors. The student will also help in the scheduling of telecounselors during regular Academic terms and during breaks. The student will be responsible for keeping the telecounselor area tidy and carry out other assigned tasks and responsibilities deemed necessary by the Admissions staff.
QualificationsStudent must be a telecounselor for at least 1 year and show great leadership and communication skills. Students must also have a solid understanding of FAQ Book, EX database, telephone system and all other pertinent information required to be an effective telecounselor. He/she must also present a Christian maturity that will set a high standard for new and existing telecounselors inside and outside of the Admissions office.
