DutiesReviews,supervises and schedules all J.C. Williams Center setups for events and meetings in collaboration with Information Specialist and Student Set Up Crew. Able to understand and communicate departmental information, policies and procedures. Must maintain the Week at a Glance Event Schedule Book. Coordinates with Events Coordinator and Sodexo Campus Caterer to plan logistics, details and support for special events. Is responsible for attending all staff meetings. All other duties as assigned.
QualificationsJunior, Senior or Graudate level student. Excellent written, interpersonal and communications skills. Student employee must be able to communicate effectively with students and university staff. Experience in events planning, but not necessary. Ability to remain friendly and pleasant under pressure. Demonstrated level of maturity and responsibility. Must have excellent leadership and management skills. Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
