| Duties | Conduct collaborative, synthetic, organic chemistry research on an F1WH sponsored project of the Neglected Diseases Initiative. Maintain an up-to-date scientific research notebook with details of all experiments and procedures written in a legible script and signed off on a regualr basis (less than 30 days with explanation of each experiment.) Be the undergraduate point person responsible for the outsourcing of essential analyltical data. The Chemistry Research Assistant III will also organize chemicals and equipment needed for experiments, coordinate research assistant under his/her supervision, perform syntheses and review analytical data from outsourcedd instrument centers. |
