| Duties | Assist Costume Designer and Theater Manager in providing costumes for main stage and student productions. Ensure shop rules are followed. Assist in maintaining machines and shop space. Notify Theater Manager of shortages in inventory. Ensure costumes are cleaned and returned to storage, properly. Sew, or modify, costumes and related props. Supervise other student employees. Other duties as assigned. |
| Qualifications | Knowledge of advanced sewing techniques, familiarity with typical machines used in costume construction, dependability, able to work independently and produce quality work under deadlines is required. Previous experience working in the Anathan Theater costume shop, theater major, completed stagecraft, ability to do routine maintenance / trouble shooting on sewing machines is desired. |
