| Duties | Assist Director of Bookstore with training of SWOP customer service representatives for all departments within the bookstore. Perform leadership functions during semesters and summer conferences including diligent monitoring of tradebook department sales, level of customer service delivered, and departmental section of maintenance. Lead student workers in delivery of service to customers on sales floor, and in restocking of shelves on sales floor. Some lifting and moving of boxes required. Other responsibilities as assigned. This position reports to the Director of the Bookstore. |
| Qualifications | Minimum of one year experience in the bookstore, with demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Able to train other students in the use of computerized registers and computer applications to perform tasks. Must be well read and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the catholic faith, as well as an understanding of the mission of Franciscan University the Bookstore's role in that mission. Able to lift and move heavy packages, to stand for long periods of time, and to climb a step ladder. |
