| Duties | Perform customer service for all departments within the bookstore. Check out customer at the point of sale using computerized cash registers, assist customers in locating items on the sales floor and pull required textbooks for customers at the textbook window. Stock shelves in the stockroom, on the sales floor and in textbook department. Clean, straighten and organize sales floor and stockroom as needed. Some lifting and moving of boxes required. Other responsibilities as assigned. This position reports to the Director of the bookstore. |
| Qualifications | Able to use computerized register and computer applications to perform tasks. Able to lift and move heavy packages, to stand for long periods of time, and to climb a step ladder. Experience as cashier or stock clerk preferred. Customer service experience helpful. |
