| Duties | Provide full dispatch support services for the summer conference season. Train Christian Outreach Staff in the proper protocol, use and care of 2-way radios. Serve as the information center for all conference staff regarding vital current conference information. Serve the conference participants as the Lost and Found liaison. Monitor the emergency telephone line. Train a dispatch student aide to be competent in all areas of dispatch. Maintain a policy and procedure manual for this position. Assist Departmental and Professional Staff as assigned. |
| Qualifications | Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required. Previous summer conference experience necessary. Must be able to handle multi-tasking. Familiarity with PC operations helpful. Ability to remain friendly and pleasant under pressure. Demonstrated level of maturity and responsibility. Must be a team player. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as necessary. Must understand and fully support the mission of the University. |
