Steps to Apply for Admission | Franciscan University of Steubenville
  • Steps to Apply for Admission

Whether you're a student in high school, home schooled, transfer student, readmission candidate, a student from outside the United States, or anything in between, you'll find helpful information on the General Requirements for Admission Page. There are, however, some steps that are generally consistent for all applicants:

    Step One

Complete the application for admission online

    Step Two

Send an official copy of your high school transcript to the Admissions Office. A final official transcript is required of transfers and high school students upon graduating.NOTE: Transfer Students: Those transferring from another institution must submit official transcripts from every institution attended.

    Step Three

If SAT or ACT scores are not part of your high school transcript you must request that those scores be sent to the Admissions Office. Check with your high school for these request forms. If forms are not available at your high school, you can request that the testing agency sends them to us: American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

All transcripts, test scores, and other documents should be sent to:

    Office of Admissions
    Franciscan University Admissions

    Steubenville, OH 43952

Upon notification of acceptance, a student who intends to enroll must submit:

    2. A Confidential Health Record Form (Available at the Health Services page)
    3. Final official transcripts of all high school and college course work
    4. Housing contract and roommate form (on-campus students only)
