  • Free Prescreening of Unplanned: The True Story of Former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson

Free and Open to the Public

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO—Unplanned, based on the book written by former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson, will prescreen at Franciscan University of Steubenville on Wednesday, January 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Tony and Nina Gentile Gallery in the J.C. Williams Center.

Sponsored by Students for Life—Values Outreach, the screening is free and open to the public.

Unplanned tells the story of Abby Johnson who worked at Planned Parenthood for eight years until she was asked to assist with an abortion. Becoming pro-life and eventually converting to Catholicism, Johnson now works tirelessly for the pro-life movement and is the founder of And Then There Were None, a ministry for former abortion clinic workers.

Ashley Bratcher, the actress portraying Johnson, will be available to answer audience questions after the screening. Shortly after being cast, Bratcher discovered that she herself had nearly been aborted but her mother changed her mind in the clinic.

Unplanned is set to release in theaters in March 2019. More information about the film can be found at
