    The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering at Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH invites applications for a full time, tenure track position to begin August 2018.  FUS is an academically excellent and passionately Catholic university in the Franciscan tradition, located 24 miles west of Pittsburgh International Airport.  The successful candidate must possess at the time of employment:

    • Ph.D or equivalent in physics, engineering, or a related discipline 
    • Commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service
    • Support the Mission of the University

    Preference will be given to candidates prepared to teach calculus-based physics lecture and lab courses, and who plan to establish a research program involving undergraduates in their chosen field.
