Growing in your faith and love for Jesus Christ and the Church is an integral part of your Franciscan University education, and Chapel Ministries is here to help.
Because the Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life,” you’ll find a full schedule of opportunities to meet the Lord in the Eucharist with our three Masses each weekday, a weekly Mass in the Extraordinary Form, and perpetual adoration during the academic year. You’ll also find the sacrament of reconciliation offered four days a week, solemn vespers on Sundays, praise and worship each Tuesday, and a monthly Festival of Praise.
We also offer sacramental preparation for those to be married or confirmed, and we welcome those interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, as well as those interested in becoming a Catholic, to join our RCIA Program.
Christ the King Chapel stands as the spiritual center of the University, but you’ll discover many places to pray set aside throughout campus. As the Lord sends you forth, you can serve your brothers and sisters in Christ through a wide variety of Chapel Ministries.
Strengthened by prayer and sacramental graces, you can joyfully fulfill your obligations as a student and learn to carry Christ with you into your classrooms, your residence halls, your missionary activities, your athletic endeavors, and wherever you go.
