    Office 365 Launch!

    There is a lot of very important information on this page about this exciting new beginning. Please read through it carefully!

    Office 365 went live at Franciscan University of Steubenville on January 3, 2018. All faculty, staff, and students are able to download the entire Microsoft Office Suite to five Windows or Mac devices, as well as five iOS or Android devices. Also, via AccessFUS, you will have online access to Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, One Drive, and other applications including Skype, Sway, and Teams. Further Office 365 solutions will be rolled out in the upcoming months.

    Please note: Within AccessFUS, the "Email" icon will take you to your Outlook inbox, while a separate “Office 365” icon will take you to the home page for all other Office 365 apps.

    Student Login to Office 365:  Your full email address should be used when logging in to Office 365. For example: jsmith001@student.franciscan.edu

     

    Transitioning to Outlook from GroupWise

    Outlook will replace GroupWise as the email client installed on your Franciscan University device. Outlook is installed on your device with the upgrade to Office 2016.

    Faculty and Staff Login Information

    Instructions on how to access your email through Outlook for the first time are available here for Windows and here for Mac

    Email Archives

    As of January 3, 2018, GroupWise will no longer be able to send or receive email. Your old emails, contacts, and calendar events from GroupWise will be migrated to Outlook in Office 365. Initially only the past year of emails will be available in Outlook, with the rest being migrated over time. GroupWise will remain available to reference past emails until all archives are migrated, but GroupWise will not be able to send or receive emails.

    Office 2016 & One Drive storage

    Microsoft Office 2016 is the new standard across campus. If your FUS device has an older version of Office please contact ITS User Support Services for assistance with the upgrade: 740-283-4357 or itshelpdesk@franciscan.edu.

    As part of this upgrade each person will be provided with one terabyte of storage space in the cloud via One Drive.
